DCHAV 12V 2A Adapter with Dual Barrel Tips
This compact AC-to-DC supply delivers 12 volts at up to 2 amps from any 100 to 240 volt mains source. It ships with two interchangeable barrel connectors measuring 5.5 by 2.5 millimetres and 3.5 by 1.35 millimetres. The unit is rated for 24 watts and carries UL and FCC listings for indoor use.
Four-Foot Cord and Centre-Positive Polarity
A 4 foot cable with a composite jacket gives enough reach for desk or wall-mounted devices without excess slack. Both barrel tips are wired centre-positive, matching the polarity required by most CCTV cameras, LED strips, routers and similar 12 volt gear. The adapter is not waterproof and must stay in dry indoor locations.
Direct Replacement for 12 Volt 0 to 2 Amp Supplies
It swaps in for any lost or damaged 12 volt adapter drawing up to 2 amps, provided the original plug matches one of the two supplied tip sizes. The 5.5 by 2.1 millimetre variant is explicitly not supported, so devices using that barrel will need a different solution. Phones and laptops are not recommended loads for this unit.
