DEALTUS WA-003L T-Blade Extension Cord

The DEALTUS WA-003L is a 1.5Feet heavy-duty power extension cord built with SJTW 12AWG cable and an in-line on/off switch. It carries UL and CUL certification and terminates in a NEMA 5-15P male plug and a four-in-one T-Blade female receptacle compatible with NEMA 5-15, 5-20, 6-15 and 6-20 plugs. The cord is rated for 20A at 125V and 16A at 250V, supporting up to 1900Watt loads. Its IP57 waterproof rating and SJTW jacket make it suitable for outdoor environments.

Suited for switched outdoor appliances.

This cord suits users who need a short, weatherproof connection with a built-in switch for devices such as pool pumps, fountain pumps or seasonal lighting. The illuminated switch allows convenient power control without repeated plugging and unplugging. Buyers who need more reach between the wall outlet and the appliance should look at longer extension cords. The fixed 1.5Feet length also makes it unsuitable for routing across a room or yard.

IP57 waterproof rating and T-Blade receptacle

The single specification that decides fit is the IP57 waterproof rating combined with the four-in-one T-Blade female socket. IP57 guarantees protection against dust ingress and temporary immersion, which is the condition required for safe outdoor use in wet locations. The T-Blade receptacle accepts both 15A and 20A straight-blade and 250V twist-lock plugs, so the cord works with a wide range of North American appliance plugs without adapters.

Questions about this item

How much clearance does the 1.5-foot cord and right-angled NEMA 5-15P plug need behind furniture?

The cord is 1.5 feet (0.45 metre) long with a right-angled 3-prong male plug, so it sits close to the wall and needs only the depth of the plug body behind the outlet.

Which step do users miss when wiring the in-line on/off switch into an outdoor pump circuit?

The double-cut switch interrupts both conductors; the cord must be plugged into a GFCI-protected 125 V 20 A circuit and the switch oriented so water drains away from the IP57-rated housing.

When should the SJTW 12 AWG cable or the lighted switch be replaced?

Replace the cord if the PVC jacket shows cracks, the copper conductors are exposed, or the illuminated switch no longer lights at 125 V, indicating internal contact wear.
