Product Identity

This 1/2" x 36 Yd clear acrylic foam tape uses a double-sided 60 mil construction for converting and manufacturing. The pressure-sensitive adhesive bonds on contact to give immediate handling strength without mechanical fasteners.

Installation Reality

The tape eliminates drilling, grinding, refinishing, screwing, welding and associated clean-up by bonding on contact. Surface preparation remains critical because the adhesive develops very high final tack that resists repositioning once applied.

Fit and Alternatives

Converters and manufacturers needing virtually invisible fastening on glass or smooth surfaces will match the 4973 and 4150C performance references. Buyers who require a different thickness, width or roll length should look at other configurations.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 60 mil acrylic foam tape is bonding correctly after application?

Press the tape firmly onto both surfaces; the pressure-sensitive adhesive gives immediate handling strength and builds to very high final tack, so a secure hold right after pressing shows it is working.

What comes in the pack and do I need any extra tools or primers?

The pack contains one roll of 1/2" x 36 Yd clear 60 mil double-sided acrylic foam tape; no separate tools, primers or additional adhesives are required for application.

Which thickness should I choose if I need a tape comparable to 3M 4973 or Hi-Bond 4150C?

This 60 mil version is the one listed as comparable to both 3M 4973 and Hi-Bond 4150C, so select the 60 mil roll for that equivalence.
