Industrial Double-Coated Cloth Tape

This double-coated cloth tape uses a rubber adhesive on a 10 mil carrier and is supplied in a case of 48 rolls. Each roll measures 3/4 inch wide by 25 yards long with a paper liner. It is built for carpet installation, wallpaper splicing and textile or polyethylene joining.

14 lbs/in Tensile Strength

The tape delivers 14 lbs per inch of tensile strength and 100 oz per inch of adhesion with 4 percent elongation. These figures determine whether the bond will hold under load in splicing or seaming tasks. Performance is rated across a -10 to 158 degree Fahrenheit range.

Gold Poly Liner

A gold poly liner covers the adhesive for easy removal during application. The liner speeds handling on production lines and reduces waste when positioning the tape for carpet, wallpaper or textile work.

Questions about this item

How does the 100 oz/in adhesion perform when the tape is applied to carpet or fabric in a real installation?

The 100 oz/in adhesion provides a high-tack, permanent bond that holds carpet seams, wallpaper splices and textiles securely once the paper liner is removed.

What does the rubber adhesive system limit in practice regarding temperature exposure?

The rubber adhesive remains functional from -10 °F to 158 °F, so the tape will not soften or lose grip within that range.

Will the 10 mil thick cloth tape with paper liner fit a standard 3/4 inch tape dispenser or applicator?

Each roll is 3/4 inch wide and 25 yards long on a standard core, so it fits common hand dispensers and automatic applicators designed for that width.
