1/2" x 36 Yd Polypropylene Tape Case

This case contains 144 rolls of 1.7 mil polypropylene tape measuring 1/2 inch by 36 yards. The acrylic adhesive provides 17 oz/in adhesion and 18 lbs/in tensile strength. It suits offices, warehouses and healthcare settings needing high-volume clear sealing tape.

Scored Easy-Tear Edges

Each roll features scored edges that allow clean tearing by hand without a dispenser or cutter. This speeds up desktop taping, gift wrapping, label protection and bundling tasks. The ultra-clear film resists yellowing, moisture, chemicals and aging for long-lasting clarity.

32° - 140° F Operating Range

The tape maintains performance across a temperature span of 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. This spec determines suitability for cold-storage bundling or warm shipping environments. Buyers needing wider thermal tolerance or heavier-duty adhesion should evaluate other options.

Questions about this item

How often will the scored edges need replacing on the 1/2" x 36 Yd rolls?

The scored edges are part of each 1.7 mil polypropylene roll and last for the full 36 yard length; no separate replacement is required.

Which limit appears first during continuous sealing — the 18 lbs/in tensile strength or the 140 °F temperature ceiling?

The 140 °F ceiling is reached first in hot environments; the 18 lbs/in tensile strength is only tested at room temperature.

How much heat does the acrylic adhesive generate when the tape runs all day on a desktop dispenser?

The acrylic adhesive produces no measurable heat during normal dispensing; the tape simply unwinds at ambient temperature.
