Questions about this item

What surface preparation is needed before applying the 45 mil acrylic foam tape?

Clean both surfaces thoroughly to remove dust, oil or moisture; the pressure-sensitive adhesive bonds on contact for immediate handling strength.

Can the 1/4" wide rolls be used with existing 3M 4945 or 4950 dispensing equipment?

Yes, the tape is comparable to 3M 4945 and 4950, so it fits the same converters and dispensers designed for those products.

How do I verify the tape is holding at full strength after installation?

The acrylic adhesive builds very high final tack over time; check that bonded panels remain rigid with no edge lift or movement under load.
