Office & packaging tape

This clear cellophane tape comes in a case of 144 rolls, each 1/4 inch wide and 72 yards long. It is intended for offices, gift-wrapping stations, packaging lines and light manufacturing tasks such as bag sealing or shade assembly. The rubber adhesive formulation suits general-purpose bonding on paper, film, wood, metal and fabric.

Dispenser fit and roll format

Rolls are wound on a 3-inch core and fit standard desktop dispensers, so they drop into existing workstations without extra hardware. The 1.9 mil film thickness keeps the roll diameter compact while the 72-yard length reduces change-over frequency during high-volume sealing or mending jobs.

Sustained adhesion and temperature tolerance

The rubber adhesive delivers 59 oz/in adhesion and 22 lbs/in tensile strength, maintaining grip during prolonged handling and shipment vibration. Elongation of 22 percent allows the tape to absorb stress without snapping. The tape remains functional across a 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit range, so performance is stable in cold storage or warm production areas.

Questions about this item

How long can the 22 lbs/in tensile strength hold before the tape stretches under continuous load?

The tape has a 22% elongation rating, so it will stretch up to that point before the 22 lbs/in tensile limit is reached.

Does the rubber adhesive soften or lose its 59 oz/in adhesion when the roll sits in a 140 °F warehouse all day?

The adhesive is rated for a 32–140 °F range, so it maintains its 59 oz/in adhesion at the upper end of that temperature span.

Will the 3-inch core on these 72-yard rolls fit the desktop dispenser I already own?

The rolls are wound on a 3-inch core, so your dispenser must accept that core size for the tape to work.
