Product Identity

This case contains six rolls of clear polypropylene box sealing tape. Each roll measures 2 inches wide by 1000 yards long with a 2.3 mil thickness. The tape uses a natural rubber adhesive system. It is suited for warehouses, fulfillment centers and small businesses that seal high volumes of cartons daily.

Build and Handling

The polypropylene backing delivers 31 lbs/in tensile strength and 130% elongation, resisting tears during aggressive dispensing. Natural rubber adhesive provides 26 oz/in adhesion that bonds quickly to corrugated surfaces. Rolls are sized for standard hand-held or desktop dispensers, allowing continuous operation without frequent roll changes.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your dispensers accept a 2-inch core width before ordering. Confirm that the 0 to 150 degree Fahrenheit operating range covers your storage and shipping environments. Ensure the 2.3 mil thickness meets any carrier or internal packaging specifications you must follow.

Questions about this item

What adhesion strength does the natural rubber adhesive deliver on this 2.3 mil polypropylene tape?

The natural rubber adhesive provides 26 oz/in of adhesion on the 2.3 mil thick polypropylene backing.

What core size and roll dimensions are needed for a dispenser to fit these 2-inch wide, 1000-yard rolls?

Each roll is 2 inches wide and 1000 yards long; the case contains six rolls designed for standard 3-inch core dispensers.

How do you apply this tape so the 31 lbs/in tensile strength holds, and what step do people skip?

Apply firm pressure along the full length after sealing; skipping the pressure step leaves the 26 oz/in adhesion under-utilised and the 31 lbs/in tensile strength untested.
