Packaging Tape for Box Sealing

This clear polypropylene tape is designed for sealing cartons in shipping, warehousing and general packing operations. Each roll is two inches wide and one thousand yards long, supplied in a case of six rolls for high-volume use.

Three-Mil Thickness with Hot-Melt Rubber Adhesive

The film measures three mils thick and carries a hot-melt rubber adhesive that delivers eighty ounces per inch of adhesion and fifty pounds per inch of tensile strength. Elongation reaches one hundred sixty percent and the tape performs across a temperature range of minus ten to two hundred degrees Fahrenheit.

Fits Standard Two-Inch Dispensers

Rolls mount on common hand-held or bench-top dispensers built for two-inch cores, so no specialised equipment is required. The strong rubber bond reduces the need for multiple strips per carton, speeding up packing lines and cutting material waste.

Questions about this item

How much weight will the 50 lbs/in tensile strength actually hold on a packed carton?

The 50 lbs/in tensile strength means each inch of tape width can resist fifty pounds of pulling force before breaking, so a standard two-inch strip handles roughly one hundred pounds of stress across the seam.

What does the 80 oz/in adhesion rating mean for everyday box sealing?

At 80 oz/in the hot-melt rubber adhesive delivers a strong, immediate bond to corrugated fibreboard that resists peeling during handling and transit.

Will the 1000-yard rolls fit on a standard hand-held tape gun?

Each roll is two inches wide with a three-inch core, matching the dimensions accepted by most pistol-grip carton sealers.
