Double Coated Red Tissue Tape

This double coated red tissue tape is supplied in a case of 24 rolls measuring 2 inches by 60 yards each. It is designed for corrugated splice detection and printing press web splicing where a highly visible adhesive is required.

Capacity and headroom

Each roll provides 60 yards of 6.3 mil thick tape with 5.5 lbs/in tensile strength and 71 oz/in adhesion. The acrylic adhesive performs across a -40° to 302° Fahrenheit range, though the 3% elongation limit means it is not suited for applications needing high stretch.

Upgrade context

It replaces single coated or lower visibility tapes used in web splicing and splice detection tasks. The jump is worth it when operations need the combined temperature resistance, tensile strength and bright red tissue carrier for clear identification on high speed lines.

Questions about this item

Will the 2" width and 6.3 mil thickness match the rolls already on my splicing machine?

Each roll is 2 inches wide and 6.3 mil thick, so it fits equipment designed for that exact size.

How can I confirm the acrylic adhesive is holding at the rated 71 oz/in after I apply it?

A proper bond shows immediate tack and resists peeling at 71 oz/in when tested on clean corrugated or web material.

Does the case of 24 rolls include a dispenser or must I buy one separately?

The case contains 24 rolls of tape only; any dispenser or cutter is sold separately.
