Decker Tape Products, Inc.

Decker Tape Products, Inc. 3/8" x 36 Yd Double Coated Tissue Tape with Rubber Adhesive Case of 96 Rolls

SKU CH-WWT3-QT5WK

Double-coated tissue tape with rubber adhesive bonds bags, chipboard and laminates; 96 rolls of 36-yard length, 4 mil thick, 80 oz/in adhesion, 10 lbs/in tensile, 0–180 °F range

  • Strong permanent bond with 80 oz/in adhesion
  • Double-coated tissue handles splicing, laminating and bag closure
  • Rubber adhesive performs from 0 to 180 °F
  • 4 mil thickness gives 10 lbs/in tensile strength
  • Case of 96 rolls supplies high-volume operations

Bulk Double-Coated Tissue Tape

This case contains 96 rolls of double-coated tissue tape, each measuring 3/8 inch wide by 36 yards long. It is suited for operations that need permanent closure of poly bags, lightweight splicing, chipboard assembly or general laminating in high volumes.

Temperature Range and Adhesion

The rubber adhesive performs across a 0 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit range and delivers 80 oz/in adhesion. Tensile strength is rated at 10 lbs/in while the 4 mil thickness keeps the tape thin enough for tight joints without adding bulk.

Lightweight Construction and Food Compliance

A lightweight tissue carrier coated on both sides with high-tack rubber adhesive allows quick stick on contact and conforms to federal requirements for food contact. The bulk packaging supports continuous production lines but may exceed the needs of occasional users.

Questions about this item

How do I apply the 3/8" wide double coated tissue tape and what step is often missed?

Clean both surfaces, press the tape firmly onto the first substrate, remove the liner, then bond the second substrate; the missed step is applying enough pressure across the full 3/8" width to activate the rubber adhesive.

What maintenance or replacement will the 96-roll case of tape need later?

Each 36-yard roll is single-use; replace a roll when the 4 mil tissue carrier or 80 oz/in rubber adhesive is exhausted or contaminated.

What limit appears first when the tape is used continuously near its 180°F upper temperature rating?

The rubber adhesive softens and loses its 80 oz/in adhesion before the tissue carrier reaches its 10 lbs/in tensile limit.
