Clear UPVC Vinyl Film Tape

This clear UPVC vinyl film tape comes in a case of 96 rolls, each measuring 3/8" wide by 72 yards long. It is designed for sealing bakery polybags, bundling plastic pipes, colour coding and closing heavy-duty bags such as paint brushes. The rubber adhesive provides 18 oz/in of adhesion and 22 lbs/in tensile strength. A 75% elongation allows the tape to stretch around irregular shapes.

Rubber Adhesive and Temperature Range

The rubber adhesive bonds to polybags, plastic pipe and food bags without the need for heat equipment or dispensers beyond a hand-held cutter. Solvent and moisture resistance protects the seal in damp or oily environments. The tape operates from -4° to 158° Fahrenheit, so it remains flexible in cold storage and stable near heat sources. Printable surface accepts marking for identification or coding.

Sustained Load Performance

Under continuous tension the 2.2 mil film maintains its 22 lbs/in tensile strength without necking or splitting. The 75% elongation absorbs vibration and thermal expansion in bundled pipe runs over long periods. Adhesion of 18 oz/in resists creep at the upper end of the temperature range. The formulation resists solvent attack and moisture ingress during extended outdoor or industrial exposure.
