Medium-reinforcement strapping tape

Black 150# MOPP strapping tape comes in a case of 24 rolls, each 3 inches wide by 60 yards long. It is intended for medium reinforcement and palletizing tasks where strong holding power is required. The synthetic rubber adhesive delivers 54 oz/in adhesion across a variety of surfaces.

Build integration and surface compatibility

The tape adheres well to several surfaces without additional primers, freeing the packer from extra preparation steps. Its 35 percent elongation allows it to conform to irregular loads while maintaining tension. The 0 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit temperature range suits unheated warehouses and transit containers.

Thermal and mechanical performance

A tensile strength of 150 lbs/in resists splitting under heavy pallet loads. The 3.8 mil thickness provides durability without excessive bulk on the roll. High shear resistance keeps seals intact during vibration and handling.

Questions about this item

How many pounds per inch of tensile strength does this strapping tape provide for heavy pallet loads?

The tape delivers 150 lbs per inch of tensile strength, giving a three-inch width high resistance to steady pulling forces during palletizing.

What temperature range can the adhesive handle when pallets sit in an unheated warehouse all day?

The synthetic rubber adhesive is rated from 0 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, so it maintains grip through freezing nights and hot afternoon loading docks.

What surface preparation or primer is needed before applying this tape to corrugated boxes?

No primer is required; the high-tack synthetic rubber adhesive bonds directly to clean, dry corrugated and most common packaging surfaces.
