Clear Polyester Film Tape Case

This case contains 16 rolls of clear polyester film tape, each measuring 3 inches wide by 72 yards long. The tape uses a rubber adhesive system and has a 1.6 mil thickness. It is designed for tasks such as temporarily holding credit cards to mailers, edge splicing, holding, and creating tape hinges.

Suited for packaging and splicing tasks

The tape suits operations needing a transparent film with 34 lbs/in tensile strength and 18 oz/in adhesion. Its 120% elongation allows stretching during application. It withstands temperatures from 32 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. Buyers needing a different width, length, or adhesive chemistry should consider other options.

1.6 mil thickness with rubber adhesive

The 1.6 mil film thickness combines with a natural rubber resin adhesive approved for indirect food contact. This construction delivers the stated 34 lbs/in tensile strength and 18 oz/in adhesion. The specification determines suitability for the intended holding and splicing applications.

Each roll measures three inches wide and seventy-two yards long, giving you plenty of length for splicing or holding tasks.

What core size or dispenser does this tape need to mount properly?

The rolls use a standard three-inch core, so they fit common hand dispensers and desktop tape guns without adapters.

What surface preparation avoids the most common adhesion failure with this rubber adhesive?

Clean the surface to remove dust and oils, then apply firm pressure at room temperature so the rubber adhesive wets out fully.
