3/4" Double Coated Transfer Tape

This acrylic adhesive transfer tape measures three-quarters of an inch wide by sixty yards long and comes in a case of forty-eight rolls. It is designed for printing-industry tasks such as laminating, holding glossy or difficult paper stocks, and gap filling.

Unsupported acrylic construction

The unsupported acrylic film is four mils thick and delivers seventy-two ounces per inch of adhesion across a temperature range of ten to two hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit. It bonds to many dissimilar surfaces and provides good shear holding power with high initial tack.

High-volume print and assembly users

Shops that need a consistent, high-tack transfer tape for continuous laminating or mounting work will find the bulk case practical. Buyers who require a supported carrier, a different adhesive chemistry, or smaller roll quantities should consider other options.

Questions about this item

What width roll and core size does this 3/4" x 60 Yd tape need for my dispenser?

Each roll is 3/4 inch wide and 60 yards long on a standard 3-inch core, so a desktop dispenser that accepts 3/4 inch tape on a 3-inch core will fit.

How do I apply this double-coated transfer tape without trapping air bubbles?

Peel the liner, press the exposed adhesive onto the first surface, then roll the second surface down firmly with a roller or squeegee from the centre outward to remove trapped air.

When should I replace a roll that has been stored near a heat source?

The acrylic adhesive is rated from 10 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit; if storage exceeded 250 °F or the tape shows discolouration, brittleness or adhesion loss, discard the roll.
