Industrial Splicing Tape for Web-Fed Thermoforming

This red UPVC splicing tape is engineered for web-fed thermoforming equipment where continuous roll-to-roll film splicing is required. The rubber adhesive system delivers reliable bonding during high-speed production runs. Supplied as a case of 16 rolls, it supports extended operation without frequent changeovers. It is not suited for general packaging, masking or low-temperature bonding tasks.

Capacity and Headroom

Each roll provides 36 yards of 3-inch wide tape at 3.2 mil thickness, offering substantial length for long production cycles. The construction withstands 60 lbs/in. tensile strength and 550 oz/in. adhesion, handling strong web tension without failure. An 80% elongation rating allows the tape to stretch and conform during the splice. Demands exceeding these mechanical limits will cause the tape to run out of headroom.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

The tape maintains performance up to 312°F, matching the heat zones encountered in thermoforming stations. No powered components, fans or moving parts are present, so acoustic output and electrical draw are zero. The rubber adhesive remains stable through repeated heating cycles without degradation. There are no thermal throttling or duty-cycle constraints to consider.
