White Polypropylene Box Sealing Tape

This white polypropylene tape measures 2 inches wide by 1000 yards long and comes in a case of six rolls. It is designed for carton sealing in packing and shipping operations. The 3.1 mil construction provides consistent performance for general-purpose box closure.

Acrylic adhesive with temperature resistance

The acrylic adhesive delivers 25 oz/in adhesion and functions across a -40 to 140 degree Fahrenheit range. This allows reliable seals in cold storage or warm transit environments. The formulation resists aging and yellowing over extended storage periods.

38 lbs/in tensile strength for load security

A tensile strength of 38 lbs/in and 160 percent elongation let the tape stretch under stress without snapping. This specification determines whether the tape can hold heavy or shifting loads during handling. Buyers needing higher break strength for industrial palletising should verify requirements.

Questions about this item

When will the acrylic adhesive need replacing on these 1000-yard rolls?

The acrylic adhesive is permanent on each 3.1 mil roll; you replace a roll only when the 1000-yard length is fully used, not because the adhesive degrades.

What limit appears first during continuous sealing — tensile strength or elongation?

With 38 lbs/in tensile strength and 160 % elongation, the tape reaches its stretch limit before the tensile limit under sustained pulling.

How much heat does the tape generate when the dispenser runs all day?

The tape itself produces no heat; it simply withstands ambient conditions from -40 °F to 140 °F without softening or losing its 25 oz/in adhesion.
