Electric Pencil Sharpener with Three Settings

The Deli AZ68659-BL is a battery-powered or USB-powered electric pencil sharpener made from ABS plastic in blue. It offers three selectable sharpening settings for blunt, medium, or sharp points to suit different writing and drawing needs. The unit measures 7.6 cm wide by 12.8 cm high and weighs .2 kilograms.

Suited for Students and Office Users

This sharpener suits students, artists, and office workers who want adjustable point styles and the flexibility of battery or USB operation. It is not for buyers who need an industrial-grade sharpener for continuous high-volume use or a model compatible with oversized diameter pencils beyond standard sizes.

Up to 5000 Sharpening Cycles

The manufacturer highlights a rated durability of up to 5000 sharpening rounds before the blade wears out. A more powerful motor sharpens a new pencil in about 5 seconds and a used pencil in about 3 seconds. An overheating protection safety device stops the motor if it gets too hot.

Questions about this item

What pencil diameters do the three sharpening settings — blunt, medium, sharp — accommodate?

The sharpener offers blunt, medium and sharp settings; blunt suits coloured pencils, medium suits everyday writing pencils and sharp suits sketching pencils.

How does the USB-powered mode interact with the two AA batteries when both are connected?

USB power takes priority; the unit draws from the USB cable and does not drain the installed AA batteries.

How can I confirm the overheating protection is active during a long sharpening session?

If the motor pauses automatically and resumes after cooling, the protection is functioning as designed.
