This Dell-branded AC adapter supplies 12 volts at 6 amps for a total of 72 watts. It uses a 5.5 by 2.5 millimetre barrel connector and includes a three-pin UK mains lead. The unit is intended for LCD monitors, LED strip lights, routers and security cameras.
Practical limits of the barrel connector interface
The 5.5 by 2.5 millimetre tip fits many monitors and low-voltage peripherals, but it will not mate with the smaller 5.5 by 2.1 millimetre jack found on some devices.
