Dell 14 DC14250 configuration

This Dell 14 DC14250 laptop ships with an Intel Core 7 150U processor, 64GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A 14.0 inch IPS WUXGA display at 1920x1200 resolution provides a 16:10 workspace. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and a wireless mouse is included.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The 10-core processor with 5.4GHz turbo frequency supports demanding productivity workloads and heavy multitasking. Integrated Intel Graphics limits the machine to light creative tasks and media consumption. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for gaming or GPU-accelerated rendering should consider a different system.

Specification that decides fit

The 64GB DDR5 SO-DIMM configuration is the deciding factor for memory-intensive workflows such as virtualisation, large dataset analysis or extensive browser-based work. This capacity is not user-upgradable on most ultraportable designs, so the choice must match the workload at purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the 14.0" WUXGA panel and a different screen option?

The model ships with a single 14.0" IPS display at 1920x1200 resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate; no alternative panel is offered for this configuration.

What does the 5.4 GHz turbo figure mean for everyday workloads?

The Intel Core 7 150U can boost up to 5.4 GHz on its two performance cores for short bursts, speeding up single-thread tasks such as app launch or web browsing.

What bandwidth does the USB 3.2 Type-C port actually provide?

The USB 3.2 Type-C connection runs at up to 10 Gbps, limiting external SSD transfers and video output to that ceiling.
