This Dell Latitude 7490 is a refurbished 14.0-inch notebook built for office work. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5 8th Gen processor at 1.70 GHz with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD. The unit is sold as Grade A refurbished condition.

Charger and Fresh OS Included

The bundle supplies an AC adapter, either a new third-party unit or a used OEM part, so the laptop can be powered immediately. A clean installation of Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit is already applied, removing the need for an initial operating-system setup.

Tested Build with Standard Ports

Each unit has passed functionality testing and carries a 90-day warranty from the refurbisher. Cosmetic rejuvenation leaves only subtle signs of prior use. Integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics, a webcam, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth handle daily connectivity without extra dongles.

Questions about this item

Can the DDR4 memory be upgraded later if 32GB becomes insufficient?

The laptop ships with 32GB of DDR4 SODIMM memory installed. Consult the service manual for the 7490 chassis to confirm whether the slots are accessible and the maximum supported capacity.

What thermal limit appears first when the i5-8350U runs at full load for long periods?

The Intel UHD 620 integrated graphics and the 1.70 GHz processor share a single cooling solution; sustained workloads typically hit the CPU thermal throttle point before the GPU or memory limits are reached.

How loud does the fan get and how hot does the chassis feel during an all-day work session?

Under typical office loads the fan stays at low RPM and the 14.0-inch chassis remains warm but comfortable; heavy compiles or video calls spin the fan higher and raise surface temperatures noticeably.
