15.6" FHD Touch Notebook

This Dell laptop ships new with a 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen running at 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8-core processor with a maximum boost clock of 4.5 GHz. The system includes 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB NVME SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Home and office users needing touch input

The touchscreen and integrated AMD Radeon graphics suit everyday productivity, video calls and light content consumption. Buyers who want discrete graphics for gaming or heavy 3D rendering should look at a different class of machine. The 16 GB of installed memory handles typical multitasking well; the board supports up to 64 GB for future expansion.

1 TB NVME storage and 16 GB memory headroom

The 1 TB NVME drive provides ample space for documents, media and applications with fast access speeds. Memory can be doubled or quadrupled later thanks to the 64 GB ceiling. The 45 W power supply and 3-cell battery keep the 3.5 lb chassis running for standard workdays away from a socket.

Questions about this item

What type of RAM slot does the laptop use for its 16GB DDR4 memory?

The system ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory installed and supports a maximum of 64GB, so additional DDR4 modules can be added if the chassis has a free slot.

Can I connect an older 1080p monitor to the HDMI port while using the built-in 15.6" 1920x1080 touchscreen?

Yes, the single HDMI output can drive an external 1080p display at 60Hz alongside the internal FHD panel for a dual-screen setup.

How do I confirm the Ryzen 7 7730U is reaching its 4.50GHz boost clock under load?

Open Task Manager’s Performance tab or a monitoring tool such as HWMonitor and watch the CPU frequency rise toward 4.5GHz during a demanding task.
