Everyday laptop with touchscreen

This Dell laptop pairs a 15.6 inch FHD touchscreen with an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor, 8GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVME SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Home and includes a 720p webcam, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for daily productivity and video calls.

Practical limits of the 60 Hz FHD panel

The display runs at 60 Hz and 1920 x 1080 resolution, so motion clarity is adequate for office work and streaming but not for high-frame-rate gaming. Integrated AMD Radeon graphics share system memory, limiting 3D performance. A single HDMI port allows one external monitor at up to the panel’s native resolution.

Straightforward setup with soldered memory

The chassis opens with standard screws, yet the 8GB DDR4 is soldered and cannot be upgraded; only the NVME SSD slot is user-accessible for storage expansion. Buyers who need more than 8GB of RAM or a second drive bay should consider a different chassis. The 45W power adapter uses a barrel connector, not USB-C charging.
