Dell 15.6" Touch Laptop Overview

This Dell laptop ships with a 15.6 inch touchscreen, an Intel Core i7-1355U processor, 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD. It runs Windows 11 Home and includes Wi-Fi 6 plus Bluetooth connectivity. The IPS panel offers 1920 x 1080 resolution with anti-glare coating. The system is aimed at professionals and students who need a responsive touch interface and ample local storage in a portable form factor.

Upgrade Installation Notes

The supplier opens the factory seal only to install the advertised memory and storage upgrades before shipping. Buyers receive the laptop pre-configured with 32GB DDR5 and the 2TB NVMe drive already fitted. No further disassembly is required for the listed specification. Users who later wish to expand memory beyond 32GB should verify the 64GB ceiling and SODIMM slot layout before purchasing additional modules.

Capacity and Performance Headroom

The 32GB DDR5 configuration handles heavy multitasking, large spreadsheets and multiple browser profiles without paging. The 2TB NVMe SSD provides generous space for project files, media libraries and local backups. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics limits 3D workloads; the 60Hz 1080p panel is suited to productivity and streaming rather than high-refresh gaming or colour-critical creative work.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 2K touch display is running at 1920 x 1080 and 60 Hz after setup?

Open Windows Display Settings to verify the resolution reads 1920 x 1080 and the refresh rate is set to 60 Hz, then test touch response across the 15.6" IPS panel.

What ships in the box and which essentials are not included?

The laptop, a 65 W power adapter, and documentation are included; no external peripherals, docking station, or recovery media are supplied.

Should I choose the 32 GB DDR5 and 2 TB NVMe configuration or a different capacity?

The 32 GB DDR5 and 2 TB NVMe SSD meet demanding multitasking and large-file workloads; select a lower capacity only if budget requires it.
