Questions about this item

How do I install an additional stick of DDR4 memory in the DELL 15 Laptop and which step is often missed?

Remove the bottom cover after unscrewing the base, insert the DDR4 module into the open slot at an angle, then press down until the retention clips click; the step people miss is re-seating the battery connector before closing the case.

Which component will need replacement first during the life of this 41Wh battery?

The internal 41Wh lithium-ion pack will degrade after several hundred charge cycles; plan to replace the battery itself once runtime drops below your daily requirement.

At what point does the Intel Core i7-1355U hit its thermal limit during a continuous heavy workload?

The processor reduces its boost clocks when the cooling assembly can no longer dissipate heat, typically after several minutes of sustained multi-threaded load at up to 5.0GHz.
