65W AC Adapter for Dell Wyse

This 65-watt AC adapter carries the Dell part number 492-BBUX and is supplied new. It is built to power compatible Dell Wyse thin-client or laptop systems that require a 65W input. The unit delivers the rated output for daily office workloads and standard peripheral use.

Suited for replacements and spares.

Buyers who need a direct replacement for a lost or failed 65W Dell adapter will find the correct fit here. IT teams stocking spares for a homogeneous Wyse fleet can standardise on this part. Systems that demand more than 65W or use a different connector polarity should look at other power supplies.

Steady 65W output under continuous load

The adapter maintains its 65W rating during sustained operation rather than only in short bursts. Thermal design keeps output stable through a full workday of typical thin-client activity. No performance throttling is expected when the unit is used within its specified load range.

Questions about this item

Which Dell laptop models accept the 65W 492-BBUX adapter?

This 65W AC adapter is built for Dell Wyse thin clients and select Latitude notebooks that specify a 65W barrel-input requirement.

Can I keep using my older Dell barrel-tip charger cables with this unit?

The adapter ships with a fixed barrel cable; legacy Dell barrel cables are not interchangeable because tip diameter and centre-pin signalling differ.

How do I confirm the 492-BBUX is delivering power once plugged in?

The Wyse or Latitude power LED illuminates white or amber and the on-screen battery icon shows the charging animation within seconds.
