Dell 78W 4-Port USB-C Car Charger
This Dell charger delivers up to 78 watts from a 12 to 24 volt vehicle socket. Two USB-C ports supply up to 30 watts each and two USB-A ports supply up to 18 watts each under Quick Charge 3.0. It powers phones, tablets and laptops in cars, boats, motorcycles, RVs, ATVs, trucks and golf carts.
Power sharing across four ports
When three or fewer ports are active each port can reach its rated output. With all four ports in use the total 78 watts is shared, so individual device speeds drop. The blue LED voltmeter shows real-time battery voltage only while the unit is connected to the battery.
DIY installation with fused lead
A 60 centimetre fused cable, two spare fuses and two blue terminals are included for a direct battery connection. Wiring is positive to “+” and negative to “-” and typically takes about 20 minutes. The protective caps keep ports dustproof and waterproof when not in use.

Questions about this item
How do I choose between the two PD 30W USB-C ports and the two QC 18W ports for my devices?
Use the PD 30W USB-C ports for laptops, tablets or phones that support USB Power Delivery up to 30W. Use the QC 18W ports for devices that rely on Quick Charge 3.0 or earlier. All four ports can run together at up to 78W total.
What does the 78W total output mean when I plug in four devices at once?
With three or fewer ports active each port can deliver its rated 30W PD or 18W QC. When all four ports are used the charger shares the 78W maximum across them, so individual port power drops.
What voltage range does the 12V input support and what does the built-in voltmeter show?
The unit accepts DC 12-24V from the vehicle battery. The blue LED voltmeter displays real-time system voltage whenever the charger is connected, even with the protective caps on.
