Provides 495 W redundant power for PowerEdge R630, R730 and R730Xd servers
This hot-pluggable module delivers 495 watts of redundant power for Dell PowerEdge R730, R730xd and R630 servers. It is designed for data-centre operators who need to maintain uptime during a single power-supply failure.
The unit slides into the dedicated power-supply bay and locks with the integrated lever, requiring no tools or cabling beyond the server chassis itself. It will not fit servers outside the R730, R730xd or R630 lines, so buyers with other platforms must select a different part number.
Measured against everything we stock in Switch Modules, Transceivers & Add-Ons, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

The server management console will report both power supply units as present and healthy, and the front-panel indicator on the 9338D module shows green when it is supplying power normally.
Only the 9338D redundant power supply module is included; a compatible IEC power cord and any required rack rails for the R730Xd chassis are not supplied.
