Alienware m15 R4 Gaming Laptop

The Alienware m15 R4 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i7-10870H eight-core processor that reaches 5.0 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR6 memory drives the 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display for high-refresh gaming.

Connectivity and Expansion Limits

The laptop provides two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.1b output and one Mini DisplayPort 1.4 output for external monitors. A Thunderbolt 3 port and an Alienware Graphics Amplifier port allow external GPU enclosures or high-speed peripherals. Gigabit Ethernet and a microSD card reader complete the wired I/O.

Eight-Core 5.0 GHz Turbo Processor

The i7-10870H delivers eight cores with a maximum turbo frequency of 5.0 GHz, setting the performance ceiling for both gaming and multi-threaded workloads. Buyers who need higher sustained clock speeds or more than eight cores will find this CPU the limiting factor. The 16GB memory and 512GB SSD are fixed in this configuration.
