The system includes a 2.5G Ethernet port, HDMI 2.1, Mini DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 and Power Delivery. Confirm your external monitors support the required refresh rates over these interfaces and that your dock or hub matches the USB-C specifications.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a power adapter, or do I need to buy one separately for the Alienware X17 R1?

The laptop ships with its power adapter in the box, so no separate purchase is required to run the Core i7-11800H and RTX 3070.

Should I choose the 360 Hz FHD panel or a lower-refresh screen for competitive gaming on this 17.3 inch model?

The 360 Hz FHD display gives the smoothest motion for fast shooters, while the 165 Hz FHD or 120 Hz UHD options trade refresh rate for resolution.

What frame rates can the RTX 3070 8 GB GDDR6 deliver at 1920 x 1080 on the built-in 360 Hz screen?

In modern titles the GPU pushes well above 100 fps at high settings, letting the 360 Hz panel show its advantage in competitive play.
