Dell Auplf 24V 120W Adapter
The Dell Auplf is a 24 V DC power adapter rated at 5 A and 120 W maximum. It accepts a universal AC input from 100 V to 240 V at 50 Hz or 60 Hz and delivers power through a standard 5.5 mm by 2.1 mm barrel jack with centre-positive polarity. The unit includes a 227 cm output cable and an LED terminal connector for screw-down wiring without soldering.
Indoor 24 V Equipment Up To 120W
This adapter suits devices such as LED strip lights, CCTV cameras, LCD monitors, water purifiers, massage chairs, DC motors and pumps that operate at 24 V and draw 5 A or less. It is not intended for equipment requiring more than 120 W, a different output voltage, or a connector other than the 5.5 mm by 2.1 mm barrel jack. Builders needing higher current, alternative voltages or screw-terminal output should select a different supply.
120 W Maximum Output Power
The single specification that decides fit is the 120 W maximum output power. Any 24 V load that stays at or below 5 A and 120 W can be powered; loads exceeding that limit will trigger the built-in overload protection and require a higher-capacity adapter.

Questions about this item
Should I pick this 5 A model or a lower-amperage unit for my 24 V LED strip?
Choose the 5 A version if your strip draws up to 5 A; it will safely deliver only the current the load needs, so a 24 V 3 A strip simply receives 3 A.
What does the 120 W rating mean when the adapter is running a CCTV camera?
The camera will draw its required watts up to the 120 W ceiling; the adapter does not force 120 W into the device.
The barrel jack is 5.5 × 2.1 mm — does that limit the cable length I can use?
The jack size sets the mechanical fit; the supplied 7.5 ft lead is rated for the full 5 A output.
