Dell C248C 305 W MT Power Supply

This genuine Dell power supply delivers 305 watts to OptiPlex 745 and 755 mini-tower systems. It replaces a failed or ageing unit in these specific desktop models. Buyers maintaining legacy Dell workstations will find the correct form factor and connector layout ready to install.

Check your OptiPlex model and chassis size

Verify the service tag shows OptiPlex 745 or 755 and that the case is the mini-tower version before ordering. This unit will not fit small-form-factor or ultra-small-form-factor variants of the same models. It is also unsuitable for any non-Dell chassis or later OptiPlex generations.

Questions about this item

Does the C248C 305 W power supply include the mounting bracket and power cables, or must they be sourced separately?

The unit ships as the power supply module only; mounting hardware and cables are reused from the OptiPlex 745 or 755 chassis.

How do I confirm the C248C 305 W MT version matches my OptiPlex 745 or 755 desktop?

Verify the chassis is a mini-tower (MT) and the original PSU part number is C248C; small-form-factor or desktop cases use different units.
