DELL CD-R/RW drive 0D8807 48x32x black

Dell 0D8807 CD-RW drive

This internal optical drive writes CD-R discs at up to 48x speed and rewritable CD-RW media at up to 32x. It is a new component intended for desktop PCs that still use a 5.25 inch bay and an available internal connector. The black bezel matches many chassis designs and the unit is listed by the manufacturer with a 2026 reference date.

Suits legacy desktop builds

Users who need to archive data to CD-R or create rewritable backups on CD-RW will find the write speeds adequate for those tasks. Builders working with modern small-form-factor cases, laptops or systems without a 5.25 inch bay and matching internal interface should look at something else. The drive does not support DVD or Blu-ray media.

48x CD-R write speed

The maximum CD-R write rate of 48x is the single specification that determines whether this drive meets your recording time requirements. Verify that your host system provides the matching internal connection and physical bay before ordering.
