Dell 15 D15260 laptop with Core Ultra 7 255U

The Dell 15 D15260 is a 15.6" laptop powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 255U 12-core processor. It comes with 32GB DDR5 4800 memory and a 2TB SSD running Windows 11 Pro. Integrated Intel Graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display.

Suits mobile professionals needing generous memory

This configuration suits users who want 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB SSD in a 3.7-pound chassis. Buyers who need a dedicated GPU for heavy rendering or gaming should look elsewhere. The 802.11ac Wi-Fi 6 wireless and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port cover everyday connectivity.

12-core Ultra 7 255U processor

The single specification that decides fit is the Intel Core Ultra 7 255U: 12 cores, 14 threads and a 5.2 GHz maximum turbo frequency. This defines the performance ceiling for multitasking and productivity workloads on the integrated graphics.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the Core Ultra 7 255U get when the laptop runs all day?

The 12-core processor reaches a 5.2 GHz maximum turbo frequency; the chassis measures 14.11 x 9.27 x .74 inches and weighs 3.7 pounds, so airflow is limited to the built-in fan design.

Which peripherals must I already own to use the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C and HDMI 1.4 ports?

You need a USB-C device or cable for the full-function Type-C port and an HDMI 1.4-compatible display or adapter for the HDMI output.

Will the Intel Graphics integrated GPU work with my older 1080p monitor over HDMI?

Yes, the HDMI 1.4 port supports 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60 Hz, matching the laptop's native FHD panel.
