Who This Suits and Who It Does Not

Mobile professionals needing a light 2.63 lb chassis, Grade A cosmetic condition, and a full port selection including USB Type-C, HDMI, and RJ-45 will find it practical. Buyers who want more storage, a higher-resolution screen, dedicated graphics, or a touchscreen should look at other models.

Questions about this item

Will the 256 GB SSD need to be replaced if I run out of space?

The laptop uses a single 256 GB solid-state drive; you can swap it for a larger drive later if you need more storage.

What limits performance first during long workloads on the Core i7-8650U?

The quad-core U-series chip shares its thermal budget with the Intel UHD 620 graphics, so sustained loads will hit the cooling ceiling before memory or storage slow you down.

How loud and hot does the 12.5 inch chassis get when the fan runs all day?

The thin 0.65 inch case and light 2.63 lb weight mean the single fan spins up audibly under continuous load, and the bottom surface becomes warm to the touch.
