Lenovo ThinkPad X250 12.5" Ultrabook

This Lenovo ThinkPad X250 is a 12.5 inch ultrabook with a 1366 x 768 HD display. It runs on an Intel Core i5 5th Gen processor at 2.30GHz with 8GB of memory. The 256GB SSD provides solid-state storage and Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed.

Installation and common issues

The laptop arrives ready to use with Windows 10 Pro and a recovery image on the drive. There is one memory slot total, so any RAM upgrade requires replacing the existing module. The screen is a non-touch HD panel and the Mini DisplayPort is the only video output.

Before ordering

Verify that a 12.5 inch 1366 x 768 resolution suits your workflow and that the single Mini DisplayPort matches your external display needs. Confirm that 8GB of memory in one slot is sufficient, as expansion means module replacement. Check that the Intel HD Graphics 5500 meets the requirements of the applications you plan to run.
