Compact business ultrabook

The Dell Latitude E7250 is a 12.5" HD notebook built for mobile professionals who need a durable, lightweight system. It passes MIL-STD 810G testing and includes a spill-proof keyboard for added resilience. An Intel Core i7-5600U dual-core processor reaches 3.2GHz turbo frequency alongside 16GB DDR3L RAM. A 500GB SSD provides fast boot and application loading.

Dock-ready connectivity

Two video outputs — HDMI and Mini DisplayPort — drive external monitors without adapters. Three USB 3.0 ports handle peripherals while an SD card reader simplifies media transfer. Gigabit LAN, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 cover wired and wireless networking. A proprietary docking connector expands I/O further for desk-based work. The 130 Watt adapter powers the unit and charges the 4-cell battery.

Suited for mobile office work

This configuration suits users who prioritise portability, legacy port selection and Windows 10 Pro manageability. The 1366 x 768 non-touch display and integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 limit creative colour work or modern gaming. Memory is maxed at 16GB with no free SO-DIMM slots for future upgrades. Buyers needing higher resolution screens, discrete graphics or user-replaceable batteries should consider other form factors.

Questions about this item

Does the i7-5600U hit its 3.2 GHz turbo ceiling and stay there, or does it throttle back?

The dual-core i7-5600U reaches 3.2 GHz turbo but sustained loads will push it back toward the 2.6 GHz base once the 4 MB cache and cooling capacity are saturated.

What fan noise and surface temperature should I expect after hours of continuous work?

The 130 W adapter and 4-cell battery feed a thin 0.8" chassis; under all-day load the fans become audible and the underside warms noticeably.

Which cables or docks do I need on day one to drive two external monitors?

The laptop provides one HDMI and one Mini DisplayPort, so you need an HDMI cable and a Mini DisplayPort cable or adapter for the second screen.
