Dell G3 15.6 laptop i7-9750H 8GB 256GB GTX 1660 Ti

This Dell G3 notebook delivers a 15.6-inch FHD display driven by a 6-core Intel Core i7-9750H reaching 4.5GHz. The dedicated GTX 1660 Ti with 6GB GDDR6 memory handles graphics workloads. It ships with 8GB DDR4 RAM and a 256GB SSD running Windows 10 Pro.

Practical limits of the 15.6 FHD 1660 Ti combination

The 1920 x 1080 panel matches the GTX 1660 Ti output for native 1080p gaming and video playback. HDMI and Micro DP ports enable external monitors for a dual-screen setup. The 8GB DDR4 capacity supports multitasking across browser tabs and creative applications. Anti-glare coating improves visibility in bright environments.

256GB SSD capacity decides fit

The single 256GB SSD holds the operating system and a modest library of games or project files. Buyers who want more storage for large media collections or multiple AAA titles will need to add a drive. The 8GB RAM and 6-core CPU suit mainstream creative work and current titles at 1080p.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD model or look for a larger configuration?

This unit ships with 8 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD; both are soldered or single-slot so adding more later may require opening the chassis.

What does the 4.5 GHz turbo frequency deliver in everyday workloads?

The Core i7-9750H can boost to 4.5 GHz on up to 6 cores for short bursts, speeding single-thread tasks like game logic or compile steps before thermal limits engage.

Which display outputs are available and what resolution do they support?

HDMI and Micro DP ports are fitted; both can drive external panels at up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz.
