Core specification

The Dell Inspiron 15 3530 is a new 15.6-inch business laptop running Windows 11 Pro. It combines a 13th Generation Intel Core i7-1355U processor with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive. The Full HD anti-glare touchscreen and integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle daily productivity and media playback.

Who it suits and who it does not

The 10-core CPU and 32GB RAM suit professionals who run many browser tabs, office suites and video calls at once. Buyers who want more storage than 2TB or who need a discrete graphics card for heavy 3D work should look at something else. The 41 WHr battery and lack of an optical drive also limit off-grid use and legacy media reading.

Deciding specification

The single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port provides data transfer only and does not carry video or charging. If your workflow demands a USB-C connection that drives external displays or powers the laptop, this model will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32 GB RAM and 2 TB SSD model or wait for a larger configuration?

This unit ships with 32 GB DDR4 and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe drive; the platform supports up to 64 GB RAM and an additional 2 TB hard drive, so the current spec already covers most multitasking and storage needs.

What does the 5.0 GHz turbo on the i7-1355U mean for everyday work?

The 10-core processor runs at a 1.20 GHz base and can boost to 5.0 GHz on up to two performance cores, giving short bursts of speed for heavy tabs or compiles while staying cool during lighter loads.

What can the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port actually do?

The single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port provides up to 5 Gbps data transfer and connects to the HDMI 1.4 output for external displays, but it does not handle power delivery for charging the laptop.
