Product identity

The Dell Inspiron 16 5620 is a 16.0 inch laptop powered by a 12th Generation Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 10 cores and a 4.7 GHz boost clock. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4-3200 memory and a 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. The NVIDIA GeForce MX570 discrete GPU handles light creative work. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. It suits professionals who need a larger display and reliable connectivity.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 10-core processor maintains performance during extended multi-tasking sessions such as video calls, spreadsheet modelling and code compilation. The MX570 graphics accelerator assists with hardware-accelerated rendering in design applications without the thermal envelope of higher-wattage GPUs. DDR4-3200 memory bandwidth supports smooth data throughput. The 250-nit anti-glare WVA panel with ComfortView reduces eye strain during long days.

Build and daily connectivity

The chassis measures 14.05 by 9.92 by 0.72 inches and weighs 4.12 pounds in a natural silver finish. Ports include two USB 3.2 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Type-C, one HDMI output and a combined microphone-headphone jack. Wireless connectivity relies on a MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 2x2 adapter alongside Bluetooth 5.2. The 16:10 FHD+ non-touch display offers extra vertical space for documents and timelines.
