Core Configuration

This Inspiron 16 5620 ships with a 12th Generation Intel Core i7-1255U processor, 64 GB of DDR4-3200 memory and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. The 16.0-inch FHD+ display runs at 1920 x 1200 with anti-glare coating and ComfortView support. NVIDIA GeForce MX570 graphics and Windows 11 Home complete the package.

Best Fit and Limits

The 10-core CPU and large memory capacity suit professionals running virtual machines, heavy multitasking workloads or large dataset analysis. The MX570 handles light creative tasks and external display output via HDMI. Buyers who need a high-refresh gaming panel, a dedicated high-wattage GPU for 3D rendering or a touchscreen should look at other models.

Deciding Specification

The 64 GB DDR4-3200 memory is soldered and not upgradeable, so the configuration you buy is the final capacity for the life of the device. If your workflow demands more than 64 GB of RAM, this laptop cannot meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Does this laptop need any extra parts to run Windows 11 Home and the Core i7-1255U out of the box?

No, the 64 GB DDR4-3200 RAM and 2 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD are already installed so the system boots straight into Windows 11 Home.

Can I keep using my older USB 3.0 Type-A flash drives and HDMI monitor with the Inspiron 16 5620?

Yes, the two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and the HDMI 1.4 output are backward compatible with those devices.

How can I confirm the MX570 GPU is active after I set up the laptop?

Open Device Manager, expand Display adapters, and verify NVIDIA GeForce MX570 appears alongside the Intel graphics entry.
