Product identity

The Dell Inspiron 16 5620 is a 16.0-inch touchscreen laptop powered by a 12th Generation Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 10 cores and a 4.7 GHz maximum turbo frequency. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory, a 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, and an NVIDIA GeForce MX570 discrete graphics card. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the silver chassis.

Suitability and limits

The anti-glare FHD+ touch display and discrete graphics suit professionals who need a larger workspace for documents, light creative tasks, or occasional video editing. Buyers who require more than 16 GB of memory or more than 512 GB of storage should note that the supplier lists maximums of 64 GB DDR4 and 2 TB SSD, but this unit is configured at the base amounts. Users who depend on a wider port selection beyond two USB 3.2 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Type-C, and HDMI may find the connectivity restrictive.

Deciding specification

The NVIDIA GeForce MX570 GPU is the single component that separates this model from integrated-graphics alternatives and determines whether the laptop can accelerate photo editing, light 3D work, or multi-monitor output beyond what the processor graphics alone provide.
