Dell Inspiron 16 Touchscreen

This 16-inch laptop combines a 1920 x 1200 touchscreen with an Intel Core 7 150U processor and 16GB DDR5 memory. The 2TB NVMe drive and Windows 11 Home come in an Ice Blue chassis with a backlit keyboard and fingerprint reader.

Suited to office work and study

The 10-core processor and 16GB RAM handle multitasking, video calls and document editing comfortably. Integrated Intel Graphics and a 60 Hz panel are not built for gaming, 3D rendering or colour-critical creative work.

2TB PCIe Gen 4x4 SSD with 16GB DDR5

The drive stores large project libraries and media collections with headroom to spare. Memory is soldered and not upgradeable, so buyers who anticipate heavier workloads should consider a model with 32GB or 64GB from the outset.

Questions about this item

What operating system must already be on the laptop for it to run out of the box?

Windows 11 Home is pre-installed, so no separate OS licence or installation media is required.

Can the 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port drive an older monitor that only has HDMI?

The USB-C port supports DisplayPort alt mode, so a USB-C to HDMI adapter or cable will carry video to a legacy display.

How can I confirm the 16 GB DDR5 4800 memory is running at its rated speed after setup?

Open Task Manager, go to the Performance tab, select Memory and verify the reported speed shows 4800 MHz.
