Business laptop for everyday productivity

The Dell Inspiron 3520 15 is a 15.6 inch touchscreen laptop running Windows 11 Home. It targets office workers, students and small-business users who need a responsive machine for documents, web apps and video calls. The quad-core Intel Core i5-1155G7 processor reaches 4.2 GHz turbo frequency for snappy multitasking. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles the display output.

36GB DDR4 memory and 2TB PCIe SSD

The 36GB DDR4 configuration gives ample headroom for dozens of browser tabs, Office suites and background services without swapping. The 2TB PCIe SSD stores large project libraries, media files and local backups with fast load times. Capacity runs out only when users keep extensive virtual-machine images or raw video footage beyond the two terabytes.

Touchscreen display and practical port mix

The 15.6 inch Full HD LED-backlit touchscreen supports direct interaction for presentations and note-taking. A 720p HD camera and dual-array microphones cover conferencing needs. Connectivity includes one USB-C 5Gbps port, two USB-A 5Gbps ports, HDMI 1.4 limited to 1920x1080 at 60Hz, an SD card reader and a headset jack. The chassis measures 14.11 by 9.27 by 0.83 inches and weighs 3.65 pounds.

Questions about this item

Will the USB-C port on this 3520 laptop drive my older 1080p monitor at 60 Hz?

Yes — the HDMI 1.4 port supports up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, and the USB-C 5 Gbps port can carry video with a suitable adapter.

How can I verify the 36 GB of DDR4 memory is recognised after the upgrade?

Open Settings > System > About in Windows 11 Home; the installed RAM line will show 36 GB.

Does the box include an SD card or only the built-in card reader?

The laptop ships with a multi-format SD card reader; an SD card itself is not included.
