Dell Inspiron 3520 15 laptop i7-1255U 16GB 1TB

This laptop pairs a 10-core Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD. A 15.6-inch FHD touchscreen running at 1920 x 1080 resolution provides direct input. Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics handles visual output. Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 license are pre-installed.

Upgrade path from non-touch or lower-spec models

The jump is worthwhile when you need touch input combined with 10-core processing and 16GB memory in a single chassis. Buyers staying with standard clamshell displays or 8GB configurations will not gain the same interaction model. The integrated graphics ceiling remains unchanged, so discrete GPU workloads are not addressed.

Straightforward deployment with sealed opening

The factory seal is opened by engineers for upgrade and testing before shipment. No further disassembly is required on arrival. Drivers for the touchscreen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are pre-loaded. Missing backlit keyboard and fingerprint reader mean no extra biometric or illumination setup.

Limited appeal for discrete graphics

Buyers who want a dedicated GPU for heavy rendering or gaming will not find it here. Users expecting a backlit keyboard or fingerprint reader must look elsewhere. The single HDMI port restricts multi-monitor setups without a dock.
