15.6 inch 120 Hz business laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6 inch laptop built for office work and study. It runs Windows 11 Home on an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with a 4.2 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 IPS display.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This configuration suits users who need a responsive Windows machine for productivity, web browsing and video calls. The 120 Hz panel makes scrolling and motion smoother than standard screens. Buyers who want a dedicated graphics card for gaming or 3D rendering should look elsewhere. The single USB 2.0 port and HDMI output limit peripheral expansion for multi-device setups.

The spec that decides fit

The 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD capacity is the key figure: it determines how many applications and large files you can keep on board without external storage. If your workflow demands more internal space, this unit will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

Will the 120Hz display and HDMI port drive an older 1080p monitor without scaling issues?

The 15.6" panel runs at 1920 x 1080 and 120Hz, while the HDMI output mirrors or extends that signal to an external 1080p screen.

How can I verify the Intel Iris Xe graphics and 120Hz panel are active after first boot?

Open Settings > System > Display to confirm 120Hz is selected, then check Device Manager > Display adapters for Intel Iris Xe Graphics.

Which accessories are included and what must I buy separately for a full setup?

The box contains the laptop, a 65W power supply and the 3‑cell 41 WHr battery already installed; no external mouse, sleeve or docking station is supplied.
