Dell Inspiron 3520 with 120 Hz display

This laptop combines an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB 2230 PCIe NVMe SSD. The 15.6-inch IPS panel delivers a 1920 x 1080 resolution at a 120 Hz refresh rate. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle the visual output. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed.

Suitable for office work and study.

The 4-core, 8-thread CPU reaches 4.2 GHz turbo frequency, supporting everyday multitasking and productivity software. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. Buyers who need a dedicated graphics card for 3D rendering or high-frame-rate gaming should look at a different system. The single USB 2.0 port and HDMI output cover basic peripheral connections.

256GB 2230 PCIe NVMe SSD

Storage is provided by a 256GB drive in the 2230 form factor using the NVMe protocol. This capacity fits the operating system and a core set of applications, though users with large media libraries or project files will require external or cloud storage. The M.2 slot accepts 2230-length modules, so any future upgrade must match that physical size.

Questions about this item

Does the 256 GB 2230 PCIe NVMe SSD use a standard M.2 slot or a proprietary connector?

The drive uses a standard M.2 2230 PCIe NVMe slot, so it can be swapped for another 2230 module without adapters.

What RAM module type and form factor does the 32 GB DDR4 memory use?

The laptop uses DDR4 SO-DIMM modules; both slots are occupied to reach 32 GB, so an upgrade requires replacing the existing sticks.

How is Windows 11 Home activated after the hardware upgrades were performed?

The OS is pre-installed and activated with a digital licence tied to the motherboard; no product key entry is needed on first boot.
