15.6" FHD touchscreen laptop

The Dell Inspiron 3520 is a 15.6-inch laptop with a full HD touchscreen running Windows 11 Pro. It targets professionals and students who need a responsive display for daily productivity and media consumption. The Intel Core i7-1255U processor provides ten cores and twelve threads for multitasking workloads. A numeric keypad supports frequent data entry tasks.

16GB RAM and 1TB PCIe NVMe

Sixteen gigabytes of memory allows smooth operation with many browser tabs and office applications open simultaneously. The 1TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive delivers fast boot times and quick file transfers for large documents. Memory can be expanded up to 64GB and storage up to 4TB for users who anticipate heavier workloads. The integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle standard video playback and light creative work.

Wi-Fi 5 and port selection

Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 5, which is sufficient for typical office and home internet speeds but does not reach the throughput of newer standards. The laptop offers two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, an HDMI output and an SD card reader. There is no Ethernet port, so wired network connections require a USB adapter. Bluetooth is included for peripheral pairing.

Questions about this item

Will my existing USB 3.0 hub work with the 3.2 Type-A ports on this laptop?

Yes, the two USB 3.2 Type-A ports are backward compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0 devices, so your current hub will connect and operate at its rated speed.

How can I confirm the Intel Core i7-1255U is running at its 4.7 GHz max turbo frequency?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose CPU and watch the clock speed while a heavy load runs; it should reach 4.7 GHz when thermal headroom allows.

Does the box include a USB-C adapter or Ethernet dongle since there is no RJ-45 port?

The package contains the laptop, a 65 W AC adapter, and documentation only; USB-C adapters or Ethernet dongles must be purchased separately.
