Questions about this item

How do I add more RAM to the Inspiron 3530, and which slot do people forget?

The laptop uses DDR4 2666 memory and supports up to 64 GB. One slot is often occupied by the factory 32 GB module; the second slot is easy to miss under the bottom cover.

Which part will need replacement first, the 41 Wh battery or the 1 TB SSD?

The 3-cell 41 Wh lithium-ion battery will degrade with charge cycles long before the NVMe SSD reaches its write endurance.

At what point does the 45-watt charger become the limit during heavy workloads?

Sustained loads can push the i7-1355U toward its 5.00 GHz boost, drawing more power than the 45-watt adapter supplies, so the battery supplements the difference.
