Business laptop with touchscreen

The Dell Inspiron 3535 is a 15.6-inch FHD touchscreen laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8-core processor reaching 4.5 GHz turbo. It ships with 16 GB RAM and a 1 TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The bundle adds a Thunderobot 7-in-1 USB-C hub for extra connectivity.

Ports and expansion

Built-in I/O includes one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, one USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI, an SD card reader and a headphone/mic combo jack. The supplied hub expands the single Type-C port into multiple legacy and video outputs. An integrated numeric keypad supports data-entry workflows without external peripherals.

Thermals under load

The 7730U operates inside a 14.11 by 9.27 by 0.75 inch chassis weighing 3.59 lbs with integrated Radeon graphics. Sustained multi-core workloads will be managed by the compact cooling solution within the thin-and-light envelope. Buyers needing discrete GPU power or user-replaceable memory should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the Ryzen 7 7730U hit its 4.5 GHz turbo limit quickly under sustained load?

The 8-core processor reaches 4.5 GHz turbo frequency with 16 MB L3 cache; sustained clocks depend on the laptop's thermal solution and workload.

How loud or hot does the 15.6" touchscreen model get during all-day use?

Integrated Radeon graphics and a 60 Hz IPS panel keep heat modest; fan noise rises only under heavy multitasking on the 8-core CPU.

Which peripherals can I plug straight into the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port without the bundled hub?

The single USB-C port accepts data drives, displays or chargers directly; the Thunderobot 7-in-1 hub adds extra Type-A, HDMI and card slots.
